Made it back from the Ions in Aqueous Solvation and Molecular Biology workshop in Telluride, Colorado. A special thanks to Susan Rempe, Tom Beck, and Lawrence Pratt for the invitation to come and present.
Every year, going back to 2003 I believe, the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association hosts an event where alumni grandparents along with their grandkids come to campus and do fun learning activities together. This year, I was the keynote speaker for the event!
Attended the Free Energy Calculations in Drug Design meeting held at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston, MA. Their new site on the Boston harbor is quite impressive! Special thanks to David Mobley, John Chodera, Michael Shirts, and the other organizers that saw fit to send me an invite to the meeting.
Welcome, and good luck, to Dr. Nils Drechsel! Only here as a visiting scholar for a little over 3 months in the spring, your time here was brief but productive. Paper #1 went out, and 1 or 2 more will hopefully be ready to send soon. Best of luck in London!
Welcome to Holly Palmer! The second of the welcomes, though the first student to actually begin messing around with molecules in lab.
